Core materials
At Luxfit, kitchen cores are specified by material: E0 for particle boards and E1 for 11-layer plywood. That split keeps wet-zone and stone-top kitchens on the stable 11-layer core, while particle lines stay E0. Health and precision details (ENF, MDI and CNC 0.1 mm) are on Engineered for Uganda.
Flagship core
Luxfit’s flagship core has 11 cross-bonded veneer layers instead of the typical 5–7, for about 40% more structural stability. It resists sagging under heavy stone countertops and suits sink runs and splash zones.
Everyday core
Smooth, flat E0 particle board for carcases and melamine-faced doors. Luxfit high-density particle board (700–800 kg/m³) stays flat on tall doors, and its MDI bond is more water-resistant than retail particle board.
Smooth door board
Pro-grade MDF machines cleanly, so it suits decorative and painted doors: lacquer fronts and CNC-cut profiles such as shaker frames. HDF is used where a surface needs extra impact resistance.
Warm finish
Wood-grain melamine finishes, from pale oak tones to deep walnut and espresso, on a stable engineered core. Compare the physical samples at our showroom before you choose.
Door finishes
Choose a finish that matches how you cook and clean. Every finish in our sample books has a code: Y, YU and BK codes are melamine, L codes are lacquer and K codes are PET. Browse them in Finishes & 3D Rooms, then compare the physical samples at our Kampala showroom.

A decorative paper finish fused onto the board under heat and pressure, giving a hard, scratch- and moisture-resistant surface that is easy to clean.
Codes L
Sprayed in layers and baked (oven-cured), a process similar to how premium car makers like BMW finish their paint, for a smooth, deep, durable colour.
Codes K
A tough polyester (PET) film laminated onto the board, giving a smooth, even colour that resists scratches, stains and fading and is easy to clean.

Cabinet quality control system
Every Luxfit kitchen goes through one quality system, run by Luxfit and our manufacturing partners. Your confirmed drawings feed the production system directly, every panel is labelled and tracked from cutting to packing, and checks are built into each stage rather than left to the end.
Our technical team measures on site. Production only starts after you approve the 2D drawings and 3D mock-ups.
Boards, edge banding and finishes are checked against your specification (board grade, E0 or E1, and finish code) before cutting.
Production data goes straight from your drawings to the CNC line. Panels are cut to 0.1 mm tolerance and each one gets a QR-coded label.
Each panel is scanned before drilling, so holes follow the drawing and a wrong size or position is flagged. Sorting confirms no part is missing.
Inspectors check panel sizes, edge banding, colour and drill positions, then clean every panel so no dust remains before packing.
Hinges, runners and fittings are picked by type and quantity for your order, then scanned and photo-checked.
Packages are scanned to confirm quantities, clearly labelled and tracked in the warehouse until loading.
After shipping and Uganda clearance, our team fits the kitchen on site to your confirmed drawings.
